Terjadi lagi Musim Hujan dalam waktu cuma belum sehari hujan menguyur Kota Bandar Lampung, dan mengakibatkan beberapa daerah di Bandar Lampung terjadi Banjir dan melanda Kota Bandar Lampung pada Jumat (17/1/2025) ini tentunya sangat menjadi sorotan dari DPD Grib Jaya Lampung.Sekda DPD Grib Jaya Provinsi Lampung (Herman) menilai bahwa dengan terbukti kejadian tersebut mencerminkan buruknya pengelolaan lingkungan oleh Pemerintah Kota Bandar Lampung.sementara masyarakat yang terkena dampak banjir sangat menderita. Tentunya tidak nyaman lagi untuk hidup di tempat mereka sekarang.
Salah satu dampak yang membuat banjir tentunya adanya kurang perhatian terhadap tata kelola ruang terbuka hijau, daerah resapan air, sistem drainase, serta pengelolaan sungai dan yang sangat penting sampah.
“Kurangnga ruang terbuka hijau dan buruknya sistem drainase membuat Kota Bandar Lampung rentan terhadap banjir. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya penanganan lingkungan masih sangat lemah dan kurangnya perhatian dari penjot kota Bandar lampung,” jelas Herman
Menurut kami banjir bukanlah fenomena yang tak terhindarkan, melainkan konsekuensi dari kebijakan pembangunan yang tidak berkelanjutan. Herman mengingatkan bahwa kebijakan lingkungan yang hanya bersifat reaktif dan sementara seperti kalau terjadi kebanjiran baru akan ada rencana pembenahan atau pun ada bantuan dari pemkot itu tidak cukup untuk mengatasi masalah ini.
Dan masalah banjir ini bukan sekadar memberikan bantuan atau tanggapan setelah bencana. Ini adalah masalah struktural yang memerlukan langkah strategis dari Pemkot Bandar Lampung agar kedepanya bagai mana agar terjadinya banjir di saat ini itu tidak akan terjadi lagi di masa depan,” tegasnya.
Saya berharap kepada Walikota terpilih Eva Dwiana agar kiranya kedepan pemerintah lebih lagi di perhatikan untuk pembangunan cara menanggulangi supaya tidak terjadi banjir, minimal volume air tahun ini tinggi tahun berikutnya mungkin berkurang, dan ini untuk menjaga keseimbangan lingkungan di tengah pembangunan kota.
“Tetapi kalau tidak ada tata kelola lingkungan tidak dibenahi, masyarakat kelas menengah ke bawah akan terus menjadi korban bencana banjir. Dan itu akan terus menerus terjadi bila musim hujan turun. Ujar Herman.
Selanjutnya harapan saya untuk kedepan nya saya berharap pemerintah mampu menyusun kebijakan di lingkungan yang untuk pencegahan yang akan datang, bukan hanya penanganan pasca-bencana dan itu cuma sementara waktu kejadian banjir. Yang jelas langkah-langkah yang di perbuat dari pemerintah kota Bandar Lampung tentunya untuk mengurangi resiko banjir dan untuk meningkatkan kualitas kehidupan masyarakat.
Sampaikan niat dan ucapan walikota waktu sebelum pemilihan walikota Bandar Lampung,saat Debat publik antar calon walikota.nanti kalau saya jadi walikota akan saya ambil solusinya gimana caranya supaya nanti tidak banjir lagi.nanti kalinya akan kita pengkolkan kemudian talut akan kita perbesar.bronjong akan kita lakukan.karna jln2 di bandar Lampung itu sudah bagus,yang jelas ini saatnya membuktikan karna apa yang tentunya di harapkan oleh masyarakat yang terkena dampak banjir saat inilah setelah terpilih kembali walikota Bandar Lampung, akan terlaksana nya ucapan walikota Bandar Lampung (Eva Dwiana) bahwa kota Bandar Lampung tidak akan ada lagi banjir-banjir yang seperti sekarang ini terjadi.
